Phare Table Lamp

Designed for apartment no. 50 at Le Courbusier's 'Cité Radieuse' in Marseille, the Phare lamp's aesthetic centered on the idea of creating a fully recyclable product that would become a versatile everyday companion; one that could match the style of the landmark and improve its inhabitant's daily comfort.

While the building's flat roof meets social needs, it lacks recessed lighting, which is where the Phare lamp offers a remedy: lightweight and simple to transport, the design and materials draw inspiration from the Cité Radieuse roof construction. Made of aluminum for 100% recyclability, durability and lightness, the lamp sphere / lampshade, in turn, is made of injected plastic, offering long-term durability and safety (both for the lamp and the user). Its design is the result of a reduction process that aimed to add all the necessary pieces without adding too much. Instead, by omitting superfluous or decorative elements, its function alone gives it its formal language.

Phare transforms into a daily companion that can be freely placed, hung up or taken outside as long as conditions are dry as needed. Whether standing or suspended, Phare is not a single-point lamp, but famous for its versatility. Its simple taste and composition will suit every residence - from Le Corbusier's establishment to a contemporary urban apartment, Phare opposes the planned obsolescence of products to serve and live longer.

Important Usage Information: To keep the internal battery healthy, leave the Phare lamp plugged in only while charging, with the lamp turned off. Do not leave it plugged in during use.
