New Norm Bowl

In 2010, Menu and Norm Architects joined forces with the Höst restaurant in Copenhagen to create something magical. A line of tableware that expresses everything we classify as “Nordic”. Materials, plates, glasses, moods and colors. It all fits together to create a complex and awe-inspiring feel of something urban, yet rustic and rural. Something rustic but simplistic.

Norm Architects initially designed this special collection of tableware as a deep admiration of one of Denmark's most prominent painters, Vilhelm Hammershoi, and the unique feel of the crisp, crystal clear Nordic winds, which served as the main inspiration for the color scheme.

New Norm dinnerware is isostatically pressed to produce restaurant-grade quality and reliability. Flexible colors and materials let you choose classic and crisp white, rough and rustic, or colorful and casual on a whim.

Bowls are sold separately with matching lids for sizes S, M and L, which also double as plates.
