Lucia Eames Butterfly Wool

The Lucia Eames collection is a collaboration between nanimarquina and the Eames Office, inspired by the art of Lucia Eames (b. 1930), daughter of Charles and Catherine Eames. Butterfly Wool features a sculptural butterfly motif created through Persian knot and kilim techniques in hand-spun Afghan wool. Each piece is handcrafted by artisan communities. Due to the irregularity of hand-spun Afghan wool yarn, the yarn may show different colour shades during the dyeing process.
