David Mellor was one of the greatest exponents of British design, known above all for his extraordinary sets of cutlery, but he has also worked on many different types of projects throughout his career. One such object is the Transit folding cart for Magis, with its chrome-plated steel frame, injection-molded polypropylene shelves and shiny cast aluminum handle, which enrich even such a humble and practical item with splendid design value.
