Hee

Adding extra comfort and functionality to the Hee Chair collection, the Hee Cushion comes in different sizes to fit the seat of the Hee Dining Chair, Hee Lounge Chair and the Hee Bar Stool. The thin, slightly padded cushion features anti-slip material on the bottom to keep it securely in place. Made in Teflon-coated fabric for a water- and stain-resistant finish, the cushions are available in two colours and can be used all year round.

About the Designer

Hee Welling is a Danish furniture designer who founded his own studio in Copenhagen in 2003. The son of a cabinetmaker, Welling’s fascination with production techniques, materials, and machinery was fired as a child. He went on to study at The University of Art and Design in Helsinki, and received his master’s degree in furniture design from The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts. Centred around the idea of creating technically accomplished products that can reach a wide audience, his designs are characterised by a great sense of proportion and quietly elegant aesthetics. Welling has received a number of design awards, including the Bo Bedre Award (Denmark), Good Design Award (USA), and has been nominated as Danish designer of the year in 2013 and 2014. For HAY, Welling has designed the About A series and the Hee Collection.
