Their mastery, meticulousness and tireless ability to always go one step further led them to work on Blur, a collection that offers two different readings. When looking at the rug from afar, one notices an undefined and unfocused surface, which gives the collection its name. However, when approaching the rug, rhythmic lines and lozenges are revealed in different proportions, in the purest kinetic style.

This blurry effect was achieved by reversing the direction in which kilims are traditionally woven, which makes the process much more labor intensive. This change in weaving causes the lines to blur, mixing two colors unevenly, creating an aged rug, reminiscent of the past.

Materials: 100% Afghan wool
Hand-spun wool from indigenous sheep in Afghanistan. This fiber has a low environmental impact as the rugs are woven in nearby Pakistan.
