Circular Promenade Flora

We present a new collaboration full of color by the hand of the artist Barcelona Santi Moix, born of Nani Marquina's admiration for her work.

For this collaboration, pieces were chosen where the artist explores the parallelism between life and death through his biomorphic flowers. His use of color goes beyond the merely decorative: it is the resource to enhance and attenuate certain details with special attention to intermediaries; those intermediate processes in flowers, like the moments before their birth, their burst of color, or their decay.

Backyard is a literal representation of one of Moix's works, in which the original piece was transferred as reliably as possible onto a rug. Its name refers to the natural space behind a house, where the flora is wilder. So it's a mural with a more muddled approach, where the flowers are presented on a spectacular scale. Its bas-relief lines reflect the pencil sketches of the painting.

The Promenade model is an exercise in reinterpreting the artist's floral work transferred to the rug. The nanimarquina team has carefully selected each of the flowers, paying special attention to scale and color in the search for the appropriate compositional balance to ensure that the Promenade integrates and coexists in multiple spaces.
It is also worth mentioning its wide range made up of 38 different colors, an exhaustive chromatic work.

The smaller models called Bloom are the Promenade flower extraction as separate pieces. They represent two moments in a flower's life cycle: wilting and blooming. They can be combined with each other and also complement the Colors collection.

Materials: 100% New Wool
Of Indian origin, this wool reduces the environmental impact, as it is produced in the same place where rugs are made. It has a quality similar to New Zealand wool, but with a more intense raw base color.

Traditionally, wool is the most used material for rugs. Presenting essential characteristics, wool offers quality, flexibility and is 100% biodegradable. It is hypoallergenic, easy to care for and ages well. In addition, it is considered a great thermal and acoustic insulator and also a natural moisture regulator. Wool rugs help create cozy and comfortable environments.
