With the Losanges collection, the Bouroullec brothers continue their study of simplicity and elegance, reinterpreting the traditional Persian rug using ancient kilim techniques.

Technically complex, the Losanges collection requires great skill due to the combination of 13 colors in the geometric diamond pattern, a great challenge for artisans in northern Pakistan.

In addition to the craftsmanship techniques involved, Afghan wool is also hand-spun for unique color tones that make each lozenge different, and each rug a unique item.

Materials:

100% Afghan wool
Hand-spun wool from indigenous sheep in Afghanistan. This fiber has a low environmental impact as the rugs are woven in nearby Pakistan.
