Wellness is an organism of comforting textiles that underpin the human experience. All items are focused on tact, materiality, craftsmanship and quality. They add warmth, softness and comfort to indoor environments and a connection to the senses. The collection uses traditional techniques and handcrafted details that make normal special.

The Wellbeing collection uses hand-spun Afghan wool, nettle, jute, linen, tussar silk, as well as cork, wood, raw wool and raw cotton carefully sourced by the nanimarquina team, as close as possible to where the pieces in the collection are produced. Using traditional artisanal techniques and local artisans with whom Nanimarquina has been working for a long time.

The collaboration between nanimarquina and Ilse Crawford began in April 2017. The criteria defined for the collection included natural, sustainable and local fibers, hand-spun, bleach-free and dye-free. These requirements led the nanimarquina team to start a deep research process and work with a wide variety of materials, leading to a conscious, human-centered, sensorial and beautiful result. All the innovations applied meant a step forward in nanimarquina's body of knowledge in carpet manufacturing.s.

Coming from New Zealand sheep, this quality wool is guaranteed cruelty-free as the sheep were treated with care throughout the wool extraction process.

Traditionally, wool is the most used material for rugs. Presenting essential characteristics, wool offers quality, flexibility and is 100% biodegradable. It is hypoallergenic, easy to care for and ages well. In addition, it is considered an excellent thermal and acoustic insulator and also a natural regulator of the unit.
