KGT Brushed

Winner of Wallpaper's 2022 design awards, the metal KGT (pronounced"cagette") is inspired by the fruit and vegetable crates found in local markets.

Designed for a more home-friendly purpose by the CP-RV studio, the aluminum KGT is made through stamping, cutting and bending, each process revealing a characteristic of the product.

Small subtle notches in the lower corners allow for easier lifting and gripping. And thanks to the stamped feet on the bottom and stamped plates on the top, several KGTs can be stacked while maintaining their fixed position.

Use it as a breakfast tray. A desk organizer. A toolbox. You can even hang it up as a picture or as a shelf. A metal box with a contemporary feel that fits perfectly into any interior.
